Scope of these terms

By using Misthometro (“the website”), you accept these terms of use in full. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the website. The operator reserves the right to amend these terms at any time; changes take effect once they are published on this page.

What Misthometro is

Misthometro is a free, purely informational online tool. It provides a salary calculator for Greece — working out the approximate net salary from the gross after the employee EFKA social-security contribution and the FMY income tax are deducted, taking account of dependent children, the age band and the 14-salary basis. The website is not registered as a provider of financial, accounting or legal services.

The calculator runs on the rates in force for 2026 (as gathered on Ιούλιος 2026), which have not been signed off by the reviewer of record. Its purpose is to make clear how a Greek payslip is built.

What Misthometro is not

Misthometro is no substitute for an accountant, for tax advice, or for information from the tax authority (AADE) or e-EFKA.

In particular, the website is not:

  • an official tool of AADE, e-EFKA or any public authority,
  • an accounting or payroll service,
  • a source of legal or tax advice,
  • a guarantee that the result is correct in your specific situation.

For binding calculations and your tax return, please turn to the competent authority (AADE / e-EFKA) or to a recognised accountant or tax professional.

The figures shown come from named primary sources, but they have not been through this site’s own review and sign-off, and the calculator does not know your personal circumstances. The result is therefore an estimate and must not be used for official or tax decisions. Some values are, moreover, still provisional pending confirmation. No model declares a rate correct on its own.

Permitted use

The website is provided “as is”, without any express or implied warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information. Precisely because the results are estimates, they may differ from your actual payslip; tax and employment-law rules also change, and individual situations call for a separate assessment that a general calculator cannot reproduce.

You use the website at your own responsibility. The operator is not liable for direct, indirect or consequential damage arising from the use or the inability to use the website, nor for decisions taken on the basis of the results.

Before any significant financial decision — for example concluding an employment contract, relocating to Greece or filing your tax return — we recommend consulting an accountant or tax professional.
